wanted the picture to look like one of those you see of reptiles, with the pitch black background and the subject in full detail :]

drew this during a one-week PC-free period, when i had absolutely no refs except for my encyclopedias and the very few ref sheets i'd printed out ages ago :XD: so i found this one in a pile and drew him <3 he be =Shinerai's clone

OMG that is super sexy <333 I love the angle his head is turned at, and how you colored this is awesome C8! I love the reflections on his wings, the wings are amazingly drawn! And you have super amazing anatomy! AND It just made me realize i wasnt watching you, I saw this faved on Beastofoblivion's page, and then when i clicked on it it said it was drawn by Theblackbutterfly, and i was like, Wiat? what? why didnt it show up on the deviations list? And then i realized i wasnt watching you when i thought i was this whole time XD, *goes to click watch instantly*
