Scuse Me Coming Through

It's finally finished! : D Been working on this baby on and off for about a good month and a half. This here is Lhune, for dearest *Dragoness77, who is very enjoyable when it comes to drawing her C:

I kinda sorta wanted to allude to the passing of seasons, very subtly, but idk if there are enough hints. Had the most fun with the rainbow though, ohman xD the base colour layer (the flat colours) was done with only five markers c: for the yellow to brown bits.

I tried to combine the seasons and the concept of passing through time and space. Things slowly grow bigger and strangely coloured when you look at the image from left to right. At the same time, Lhune is running both in front and through this section of time/space, not touching it or simply not seeing it.

The bird is the viewer, perched on an elaborate ornament stuck fast into solid ground and watching the world and this strange creature go by.
